As a key member of the Analyst team, you will be part of UnitedHealth Group's mission of helping people live healthier lives. Primary Responsibilities:



  • Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data

  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning

  • Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysis

  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate

  • Work independently to scope issues, analyze data, and make actionable recommendations based on analysis

 


 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ year of experience in data analysis

  • Experience creating and pulling data from Orbit data system

  • Experience assisting with deployment of a new software system

  • Experience gathering requirements from client/business and documenting

  • Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally

  • Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

  • Working knowledge of analyzing data from relational databases and understanding of database structures
