Position Description:

The Facility Operations Manager (FOM) is primarily responsible for people and team development, cost parameters, and service to customers (internal and external). This individual is responsible for a work team of 15-30 warehouse employees. You will begin your assignment with a 10 to 12 week "on-boarding" program in which you will work distribution, manufacturing, and sales operations while assisting team members in solving problems and improving performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Interface with product direct delivery customers, vend customers and Frito-Lay Sales associates

Motivate team members to achieve plan goals

Develop team to solve own day-to-day operational issues

Develop and execute annual/quarterly service targets and objectives

Perform daily production shift reconciliation and make necessary adjustments

Administer policies and practices

Job Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Logistics/Business discipline or related discipline

2-5 years' experience in warehouse environment preferred

Demonstrated people and leadership skills

Coaching, facilitation and team building skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent writing and analytical skills

Flexible - willingness to work off shifts and weekends

Work 50 to 60 hours per week schedule

Strong customer service skills and computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Must pass a drug screen and background investigation.

Frequent standing and walking.

Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity and far acuity) and hear.

Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested areas.

Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season and site location).

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, steel-toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc.
