SUMMARY of the position:
Works under direct supervision and selects from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Applies basic and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area of specialization. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine. Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Use of specialized subject matter knowledge required.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the position:
- Performs the duties of Representative.
- Coach and mentor representative
- Provide support by overseeing events in manager's absence.
- Responsible for ensuring all sales quotas for selling specialists are met.
- Submit daily accurate and timely reports to manager.
- Assist in preparation of work schedules and activities of representatives
- Act as liaison with HEB and Vendors as required by manager.
- Purchase products for demonstrations when requested.
EDUCATION and experience preferred:
- 3-6 mths experience
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Requires excellent communication skills, neat appearance, and good grooming.
- Prior sales experience a plus
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL and other requirements:
- Must be able to stand the duration of shift and perform routine tasks with a minimum of supervision.
- Requires bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, twisting, grasping, pushing and pulling.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
