Texoma Medical Center , a 288-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The Nurse Educator provides nursing professional development and education services by assisting nurses in preparing for contemporary proactive and supporting them in acquiring knowledge and skills so that they can competently collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes , implement the interventions identified in the plan of care that prescribes intervents to attain the expected outcomes in the care setting.

Requires 5 years RN experience with background in a Behavioral Health setting, management and/or education. Must have a current License as a Registered Nurse in Texas and current CPR certification. Must be clinically competent in behavioral health nursing.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate team leadership. Must have the ability to problem solve and think critically. Must possess creative teaching methodology and design to facilitates adult learning needs. Knowledge base of teaching and learning theories, curriculum design, test measurement, evaluation and research. Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
