Job Description:
We are seeking electrical helpers for immediate employment. One (1) year or more experience preferred. We specialize in commercial, retail, industrial, service and some residential electrical construction.
Qualifications:
-Must have a valid driving license
-Must have standard hand tools (we will provide list if you are unsure of the tools needed)
-Willing to travel. Travel expenses are provided (While we do try to keep work in Central Va, we do have jobs in NC, NoVA MD and beyond. You must be willing to travel when needed)
-Entry level to 4th year apprentices (we are also hiring journeymen electricians- see our other ad)
General Requirements:
-Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet)
-Able to lift and carry heavy loads without assistance
-Able to perform work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders, on/off equipment and work from various heights
-Able and willing to walk, stand, bend for long periods of time
-Able to use your hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling
-Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner
-Willing to work at least 40 hours a week (Paid weekly)
-Drug-free workplace

-($8 and up) Commensurate with experience
-Education: We offer an excellent tuition assistance program (grade based reimbursements) through the ABC electrical apprenticeship program.
