CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician at our specialty pharmacy in Fort Worth, TX! The pharmacy technician will work in a high impact customer service role to positively impact the lives of others. Daily responsibilities will include: data entry for new and refill prescription orders, calculation of doses, assignment of directions, accepting proper insurance payment, and resolving basic insurance issues. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, and problem solving abilities. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform duties requiring light physical activity is required.
Required Qualifications *High School diploma or equivalent.
*Minimum 1 year of experience in a Pharmacy Tech role.
*Must be licensed and certified as a pharmacy technician in the state of TX.
Preferred Qualifications *Experience working with specialty medications. (Experience in Oncology and injectables preferred.)
Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
