As a Clinical Supervisor with Arizona MENTOR, you’ll be one of those extraordinary people. Arizona MENTOR is seeking a Clinical Supervisor who independently holds one of the following Arizona State Behavioral Health Licenses: LPC, LISAC, LMSW, or LMFT. This position supports those we serve in residential homes and outpatient settings in Casa Grande, Arizona City, and Laveen, with approximately one day per week in our Phoenix office. We seek a passionate leader who can successfully provide clinical supervision to behavioral health services staff, including overseeing the therapy or behavioral health services provided to clients, development and implementation of service plans and ensuring the quality of the services provided to individual clients. In this role you will also regularly review documentation to ensure compliance and proactively address any client issues with respect to therapeutic or behavioral health services with the support of your Area Director, Quality Assurance and Human Resources team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise program staff by providing continuous coaching, feedback, and discipline when necessary.
  • Supervise clinical and crisis management and establish on-call duties; including personally responding and providing clinical and crisis management services to include individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, conducting clinical assessments, differential diagnosis, and individual treatment plan development and implementation.
  • Assist in marketing and developing new business, as assigned, and ensure a timely response to all requests for information, services, and documentation.
  • Monitor monthly expenses in conjunction with program goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of clinical standards and ensure compliance in terms of treatment interventions.
  • Ensure that all records are accurate, up to date, and are in compliance with legal and corporate requirements. This is to include clinical documentation such as daily progress reports, treatment plans, assessments, releases of information, HIPPA,activity schedules, and clinical staffing notes.
  • As required, oversee recruitment, including selecting, contracting, and terminating employees. Oversee employee supervision, training and evaluation.
  • Process referrals, intakes, assessments, matching and placement of new clients; to include conducting monthly clinical staffings with the individual receiving services, clinical teams, guardians, advocates, and other identified supports.
  • Provide resources for staff concerning theories and current research relevant to program development.
  • Monitor the process for selecting and training professional and support staff.
  • Monitor the supports needed for clients to maximize success in the program; maintaining regular contact with all identified support; assisting individuals in identifying community resources and referrals; assisting individuals receive an Office of Human Right Advocate through the special needs process.
  • Serve as liaison with consulting staff (psychiatrist, psychologists, physicians,etc.)
  • Oversee appropriate interface with billing system and other operating units as necessary to meet company requirements.
  • Monitor the availability and efficacy of community-based and other supports required by the program.
  • Support staff in the development of and facilitation of person centered plans.
  • Assure service delivery and compliance with all regulatory, contractual, corporate,and legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with all clients, families, funding sources and regulatory agencies, as appropriate, and monitor their satisfaction with services.
  • Promote and market programs to funding sources, community agencies, families, and related groups.


Qualifications

What we require of you:

  • Must independently hold one of the following Arizona State Behavioral Health Licenses: LPC, LISAC, LMSW, or LMFT.
  • Experience in sex offender treatment preferred
  • Willingness to travel between programs in Casa Grande, Arizona City, Laveen, and approximately one day per week in our Phoenix office.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Master’s Degree in Social Service field and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the structure of entities associated with the human services field (i.e., funding agencies, governmental agencies, social agencies, medical practitioners, judicial system, community resources, etc.)
  • Prefer experience in adult SMI residential and community placement settings, and knowledge of OBHL regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role
  • Ability to effectively establish and maintain meaningful relationships
  • Ability to coordinate activities and services to meet the on-going needs of individuals served
  • Strong follow through to ensure quality services, regulations and clients’ rights are upheld
  • High energy, goal-oriented, and an ability to inspire people
