About this job
Responsible for production functions in the formulation area according to company and department SOPs. Individual will formulate semi-finished goods and perform sterile filtration in a class 100 LFBSC. Individual will maintain
records to comply with GMP and SOP. Work is performed in a fast paced, safety and team oriented environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Formulate bulk products according to batch record and SOPs
* Schedule order of events for production
* Draft and review production documents
* Investigate deviations and complete CAPAs
* Operate and maintain production equipment
* Train new personnel
* Manufacturing variance review
This is a GMP manufacturing environment. Candidates will be expected to gown up and follow all related SOPs.
Position qualifications:
* BS degree in chemistry or related discipline
* Minimum of 2 to 3 years of industry experience
* Experience with cGMP and ISO manufacturing preferred
* Working knowledge of ERP system (SAP or E1)
* Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
This will be a first shift position- 7am to 3:30pm. M-F. Weekends may be required (haven't done a weekend all year, but did a few at the end of last year)
