*Requirements*

*College degree in business or a closely related field may substitute for a portion of the required experience.

3 to 5 years progressively responsible retail or hospitality experience.
Leadership experience, including individual or team motivation.
Passion for people, healthy food and a healthy lifestyle.
Self-motivated, hardworking and results-oriented.
Ability to manage store operations independently.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with high degree of success in multi-tasking.
Strong familiarity with customer service practices and procedures.
Knows first-hand supervisory practices and procedures, including team building.
Enthusiastic and friendly personality.
Pays attention to details.
Strong organization and planning skills.
Solutions oriented.
Desire and willingness to coach and mentor.
Effective communicator, both orally and written.
Ability to manage correctly confidential and sensitive information.


*Responsibilities*
Contributes toward profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales, manage inventory, control cost of goods and labor.
Ensures all cash handling and cash register functions are performed accurately and consistently.
Responsible for inventory management, including product, merchandise and supplies.
Trains and develops staff members to model the urban Farmhouse Mission through customer service and operating standards.
Communicates and trains staff members on new products. Works closely with Retail Manager to support Market goals and initiatives.
Manages daily and weekly staffing, including scheduling, recruits, conducts interviews, makes hiring and termination decisions.
Works closely with Management Team to provide resolution for staff member concerns and complaints.
Responsible for staff member performance, providing ongoing feedback, conducts performance and salary reviews.
Engages and encourages staff member's contributions in creating store initiatives.
Ensures all policies, standards and procedures are effectively communicated and followed consistently.
Create and maintain the safest environment for our staff members and customers.
Responsible for equipment maintenance, ensuring safe operation and working conditions.
Ensures store cleanliness and appearance in all areas including kitchen area, back of house and restrooms are maintained at the highest standards.
Provides absolute unflagging attention to customer service and satisfaction, including speed of service, handling complaints and speedy response to requests.
Oversee development and execution of marketing activities.
