Description: Our aquatic safety team provides exceptional guest services while maintaining safety as their highest priority. After extensive training, lifeguards are licensed through the International Lifeguard Training Program administered by Jeff Ellis & Associates. We provide free certification for lifeguards.
Duties: Provide swimmer protection of aquatic areas, dispatch attractions, rule enforcement, administer first aid, provide exceptional guest service. Lifeguard must attend at least 4 hours of paid in-service training per month to remain active.
Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken when appropriate.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
All lifeguard applicants must complete the International Lifeguard Training Program prior to being able to work. Prerequisites for the course include:
* Swim 200 yards continuously using an approach stroke (breast stroke or front crawl).
*Retrieve a 10 lb. brick from a 5 ft. deep pool.
*Tread water without the use of their hands for 2 minutes.
