Hotel Housekeeping

VKB Management is a family owned and operated company whose primary function is the management of hospitality assets. Our portfolio consists of 20+ owned and operated hotels located in 3 Midwestern states and include brands from Choice Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, BestWestern International, and Marriott International. We have several hotels in the greater Des Moines area in need of housekeepers. Work locations range from the south side of Des Moines to Johnston to Ankeny and Altoona.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Clean guest rooms, halls, and common areas in hotel in accordance with brand standards and within established time limits.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Thoroughly clean guest room and bath, replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, communicate necessary repairs or maintenance needed in the rooms, stock housekeeping carts and equipment, and comply with hotel policies and procedures.
Our housekeepers must be able to spend most of the day walking, bending, twisting, and kneeling while cleaning. The job requires the ability to lift 25-50 pounds on an occasional basis. Flexibility in scheduling is required, especially including weekends. Hours will vary depending upon hotel occupancy.
