Commercial Banking Summer Analyst Program
Commercial Banking provides the full range of commercial, treasury,
investment banking and asset management services to entities with
annual sales of $10 million to $2 billion. Chase Commercial Banking
includes eight businesses: Middle Market Banking, Mid-Corporate Banking,
Commercial Real Estate, Business Credit, Equipment Leasing, Chase
Capital, Chase Capital Placements and Community Development Banking.

relationships with companies, foundations, charitable organizations and

Program Overview
The Commercial Banking Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week
internship designed to develop and utilize financial and analytical
skills while helping an intern sharpen his or her professional and
business skills. Summer analysts will work with other professionals as a
team, drawing from the full spectrum of the firm's resources to develop
customized financial solutions to meet client needs. Responsibilities
of a summer analyst may include underwriting (focused on credit and
financial analysis), researching industries and markets, supporting the
Banker and Underwriter, and gaining client exposure.
The program offers opportunities in one of the following four
Commercial Banking businesses: Middle Market Banking, Commercial Real
Estate, Business Credit and Equipment Leasing.
Middle Market Banking covers companies with annual
revenues from $10 million to $500 million, offering cash management,
credit, investment banking and wealth management.
Commercial Real Estate provides services to investors
and developers of residential for-sale housing, multifamily rental,
retail, office and industrial properties.
Business Credit is a leading national provider of highly
structured asset based financing for an array of leveraged financing
needs.
Equipment Leasing meets the needs of corporate and
commercial clients, state and local governments, and not-for-profit
organizations, financing a variety of equipment types, each structured
to meet the client's tax, accounting and financial objectives.
Opportunities
Commercial Banking internship opportunities are designed for
students entering their senior year of college. This program offers
summer interns an unparalleled chance to develop financial skills and
gain exposure to the Commercial Banking business. As an integral member
of the Commercial Banking team, you will have challenging
responsibilities, receive ongoing feedback and have formal performance
reviews throughout the summer. As a summer intern, you will be given

Sophomore in High School
Superior analytical, quantitative, leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
