Position Summary

The Sales Manager for Residential Business Development will lead a geographically-dispersed team of Business Development Specialists, overseeing business development, customer and revenue growth in the Single Family Unit (SFU) and Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) New Build segment. The Manager will collaborate with engineering design, construction, technical operations, legal, dispatch and residential sales teams in the oversight of end-to-end processes for New Build SFU and MDU projects.

Job Duties

- Provides leadership for the daily operations of the Residential Business Development (New Build) Sales Department.
- Establishes performance goals, in accordance with divisional financial/subscriber goals, for Business Development Sales team and monitors performance on a continual basis.
- Oversees all hiring, training and performance management of departmental staff.
- Work across functional organizations and with industry associations, organizations or sources to identify new build projects in the market area
- Responsible for developing relationships with industry associations, local builders, developers, county administrators, model agents, leasing agents, etc. establishing an overall annual new build schedule in the market area
- Upon contract execution, take responsibility for the project management of that new build through service activation and customer acquisition at the property.
- Provides feedback and direction related to performance targets/sales goals, campaigns, promotions, incentives, and overall compensation
- Ensures the needs of the customers are successfully met in order to meet the overall objectives of the department.
- Conducts analyses of sales performance, productivity, and quality results and ensures that there is a constant flow of information within the region
- Reviews, monitors and recommends budgeting and staffing needs.
- Establishes and ensures collaborative relationships with customers.
- Creates for review, commission and incentive plans which are tied to the overall objectives of the division.
- Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and sales management experience.
- Prior experience managing field sales personnel.
- Proven experience developing and executing sales plans including quota and account objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SalesForce or similar sales contact software, order entry and billing systems, etc.
- Intermediate financial/analytical skills are needed.
- Must have own transportation and a clean driving record.

Travel Requirements

- Frequent travel within target market area for meetings, site visits, sales rep coaching/training, and other business reasons is required.
- Regular travel to other TWC markets for meetings, business reviews, training, conferences, etc.
