We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Credit Risk Analyst.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Our client, a leader in the Insurance industry with an excellent reputation currently has a great Credit Risk Analyst opportunity available. This position will analyze credit data and financial statements, consult with agency management and participate in special projects as requested.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit data and financial statements of entities to evaluate credit position of future accounts.
- Consult as requested with agency management on financial analysis of prospective insurance risks.
- Recommend and draft credit protection plans, payment arrangements, billing procedures and other appropriate items.
- Grant credit terms for payment of premium or risk acceptance.
- Work closely with producers and underwriters to discuss credit recommendations and verification of policy estimates. Participate in account and agency visits.
- Minimize bad debt risk and maximize accounts receivable collections.
- Ensure established standards for turnaround time are met.
- Assist team members in solving work problems; explain procedures/policies; critique work.
Special Skills Required:
- Demonstrates successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in a finance or accounting.
