The SURGICAL Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is committed to the highest level of patient satisfaction. With 32 beds dedicated to an adult population of surgical, trauma, and orthopedic patients our nurses experience 12 hour shifts that feature a "primary care" nursing model as well as a "team nursing" environment that consists of a Patient Care Technician. Nurse to patient ratios vary based on the nursing model and acuity of the patients.
Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
Join us now as we are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.
