Senior Associate Middleware Operations Analyst-JobID P130862

Required:• Expert support experience with Websphere Application Server and Java/ J2EE applications across multiple Pre Prod environments.• Expert support experience with Application running on JBoss, Deploying Jboss Applications and modifying server configuration as per developer and testing requirements.• Solid understanding of Tomcat Application Server and Tomcat Applications• Expert level defining and modifying Websphere configuration such as datasources, listener ports, transports, Name Space Bindings, Websphere Plugin, Java2 Connection artifacts as per testing requirements.• Solid understanding Websphere MQ. Defining new queue managers, queues, changing listener ports and defining MQ brokers. Troubleshooting application flow from Websphere to MQ and back to Websphere or between Java Batch applications and MQ to the Mainframe MQ.• Expert level experience administering Apache Web Server. Creating apache start up scripts. Modifying apache configuration such as Document Root, Rewrite Rules and creating virtual hosts• Solid understanding RDBMS concepts to support Application Testing• Solid understanding of IBM Datapower, Extremescale, and CTG• Expert level automating common tasks and writing scripts in Python, Ruby, Perl, Korn and Bourne Shell. Writing scripts for clearing logs, monitoring server performance, Restarting JVMs, Supporting Distributed Date changes etc. Also writing scripts and turning them over to offshore resources, so environment support can be provided off hours.• Solid understanding of SOA and web services concepts• Capable of influencing and driving organizational/process/technology change• Team player, self motivated, very resourceful/requiring minimal direction, and able to work effectively either independently or be highly-collaborative with peers• Must be willing to participate in a 24x7 on-call pager rotationDesired:• Working knowledge of CA Wily Interscope to monitor Test Websphere Applications for health and availability• Working knowledge of AWS and or other cloud services platforms (Google, Rackspace, Heroku, Openshift, etc)• Working knowledge of Pivotial Cloud Foundry• Working knowledge of HP ALM suite• Understanding of Continuous Integration practices using GIT and Jenkins• Understanding of Continuous Delivery practices using Jenkins and Deployer plugins for Websphere, JBoss, and Cloud Foundry
