Job Description:

LS&CO is currently accepting applications for employment in our Distribution facility. Most positions available on our evening and weekend shifts:

Starting pay is $8.75 with potential increase after 60 days probationary period to $9.42 + Shift Differential as applicable.

Now Hiring:

1st shift = Mon-Fri 7;00am to 3:30pm

2nd shift = Mon-Fri 3:30pm 12:00am

Material Processors

- Packs, prepares for shipment, and ships customer orders.

- May perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking for shipments.

- Able to operate necessary technology to include radio frequency scanners, computers, etc. as required.

Material Handlers

- Loads and unloads product from trucks or containers.

- Breaks down and separates incoming shipments.

- Moves products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stacks and stores the merchandise in the appropriate area.

- Picks orders for shipment and assembles various types of merchandise to be shipped. Counts or verifies freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience

• Ability to work required overtime as needed

• Strong Number recognition and correlation

• Basic Computer skills

• Operation of (RF) hand held scanner

• Maintain established efficiency and accuracy requirements

• Follow all safety rules and requirements

• Follow LS&CO. Polices and Procedures

• Maintain facility housekeeping standards

Physical Requirements:

• Acceptable vision to perform job functions

• Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs

• Mobility necessary to work all levels of building

• Ability to stand 90% of day if required by job function

• Maintain control of moving equipment at all times
