Material Handler

Staffmark is currently hiring for Material Handlers for a Logistics Company in Sparks, NV. All positions are considered temp to hire based on overall performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
Marks materials with identifying information.
Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
Uses computer or RF to enter records & maintain inventory records.
Keeping work areas clean.
Work Schedules:
4:00am - 1:30pm
6:00am - 2:30pm
7:00am - 3:30pm
8:00am - 4:30pm
9:00am - 5:30pm
- All candidates need to be flexible to schedule changes to accommodate customer needs including weekend work if required.
