Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian with 1 or more years' experience to work full-time in a 247 bed critical access community hospital located in Rock Hill, SC, (20 miles south of Charlotte, NC metro area). The ideal candidate will have experience in nutrition care process for adult medical-surgical patients in the in-patient and out-patient settings. In this position the candidate will provide nutrition services for the in-patient areas (medical, surgical, ICU) and out-patient services. Additional responsibilities will include working with the management team to enhance patient satisfaction.
The selected candidate will join a team of experienced professionals in the Food and Nutrition Services of Sodexo, and be an active part of a dynamic team delivering nutrition care services within the facility and community. Candidates should have strong communications and customer services skills, be able to work proactively with the medical staff, and be team oriented. The hired candidate must be a self-starter, a team player, and possess good time management skills. Must be a RD and eligible for South Carolina licensure

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
