WANTED: PLUMBING PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR for a local commercial & residential HVAL/Plumbing company.
Salary:Based on Experience
Size of Work:$1,000 - $100,000+

Job Description:
1) Pursue cold calls and new accounts
2) Correctly use and complete all necessary project documents
3) Estimate projects including:
-Attending job site meetings
-Understanding and execution of plan/blueprint takeoff, layout & design
-Review and understanding of project scope and specifications
-Develop bid proposals
-Provide budgeting for future projects
-Negotiation of completed estimates to acquire new projects for present and backlog work

4) Coordinate project scheduling
5) Review of all contract documents
6) Review equipment, fixtures, material requirements & order as required to meet project schedules
7) Order, organize and generate submittals
8) Coordinate project start-up with field personnel
9) Review and manage sub-contractors
10) Create sub-contractor change order log and handle paperwork for changes to sub-contracts
11) Track construction progress closely
12) Inspect installations to insure that work is being installed per company standards
13) Provide projections of job work in process to management monthly
14) Review and approve labor time sheets
15) Review and organize all material and labor costs
16) Provide timely and accurate progress/final billings to accounts receivable
17) Coordinate project closeout documents
18) Provide permit drawings when required
19) Evaluate labor and material costs before, during and after the completion of each project to determine where the project met, exceeded or fell below estimators expectations in post-construction meeting

Job Skills
-Ability to work with others in a fast pace team oriented environment
-Highly computer literate and must be extremely proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project and Estimation software
-Must have 5+ years plumbing and project management experience
-Ability to manage multiple jobs and estimates simultaneously
-Exhibit motivation while in your job duties by being proactive in selling jobs, working with others.Also maintain a high degree of integrity while conducting Company business.
-Exhibit adequate field technical support expertise.
-Ability to maintain positive client relations which is exhibited by collection of billings on jobs, recurring projects and referrals.

REQUIREMENTS:
*2-4 Year degree in project or business management, construction, engineering or plumbing.
*Proficient in Microsoft office
*3-5 Years on the job experience in the related field
