The Master Data Management (MDM) Functional Lead is responsible for applying MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the company’s vision, and supporting an MDM implementation on Informatica platform technologies. Need to have great communication skills and presentation skills. Must have done 2 full implementation with Informatica MDM. 5 – 7 years of MDM exp.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead MDM requirement analysis sessions with business users

• Coordinate MDM program activities for the Product, Customer ,Vendor ,location data domains

• Conduct source system analysis, and data profiling for lifecycle management.

• Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of a MDM platform

• Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows that can be deployed in the endorsed MDM tool

• Thorough understanding of deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies and master data hierarchy management

• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture teams (data integration, data architecture, business intelligence) to develop and deliver MDM solutions.

• Work with Architecture Review Board and Change Approval Board for technical reviews and approvals through the system development life-cycle.

• Align with company strategies and objectives

• Deliver services that meet internal KPIs & customer SLAs

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelordegree in the field of computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience

• At least seven (7) years direct experience in MDM design, development, support and operations with a leading MDM tool suite (such as Informatica MDM, SAP MDM, Kalido MDM)

• Strong AFS/Retail Business process/Functional knowledge

• Hands-on expertise required with Informatica tools and utilities such as Data Controls, Data Director and Data Quality

• Extensive knowledge and experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions

• Familiarity with enterprise data integration technologies and methods such as ETL, data replication, and data services

• Experience with enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data focused systems integration solutions

• Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Certified Informatica Professional or related certification

• Exposure to and conceptual understanding of data integration tools and technologies (such as Informatica PowerCenter, SyncSort/DMExpress, Microsoft SSIS) and RDBMS concepts and methods (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)

• Familiarity with iterative development methodologies
