The Channel Account Specialist, part of the Channel Alliance Group , will develop relationships with agents and subagents to increase sales productivity and provide proactive sales support.

Some Areas of Responsibilities are: Assisting partners and subagents in all aspects of the selling cycle, including but not limited to: qualification, solution design, quoting, contracting, and ordering. Acts as liaison between agent organizations and internal resources, such as pricing and offer management, order entry and provisioning. Accountable for sales quota and the complete and accurate processing of customer orders. Uses selling expertise to cross-sell or up-sell each account. Prepares sales documentation, activity reports, and forecasts as required. May train or assist less experienced representatives in sales activities. Requires strong communication, customer service, and team work skills. Job may be a combination of inbound and outbound activities. Required experience includes 3 years sales experience, BS or equivalent work experience. Internal product and process experience preferred. Essential duties include: Meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas, by selling through the entire suite of CenturyLink products and services Organizing, presenting, and selling complex and managed services Pricing, contracting, and ordering complex products; often working with Pricing & Offer Management to develop complex pricing and custom contracts Maintaining a funnel of qualified and accurate Salesforce opportunities Understand the CenturyLink processes, products, and services sufficient to explain to and help Agents through the sales process Job Requirements Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 3 years sales experience 2+ years successful Business to Business inside/outside sales experience
