This Retail Operations Manager will oversee the Food Retail daily operations of $4M, with concepts of
New Chick Fil -A, Mein Bowl Asian Format, Sub Connection, Denny's "Den", Grid Community Store, Pita Concept, Einsteins Bagel Concept, Sub Contracted Coffee Shops, Concessions, Catering support and sales that are generated from the retail venues.
The successful candidate will have
A strong understanding of large volume Retail Dining operations (from large Campus, Sports and Leisure or Healthcare), Marketing as well as driving business through sales. Food Retail brand (internal and national) management experience is a necessity. Sodexo experience preferred. A strong background in excellent operational performance, leading a team to greatness as well as strong client communication and relationship skills. Ability/experience to generate high level of Retail Growth ! A hands on management style, daily unit walk throughs for all units -- High Touch! Skilled in using Food Management Systems for Ordering/Inventory/Labor Management, and proven financial understanding of cost analysis, marketing and merchandising. Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
