Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of production, which includes receiving, processing, packaging, maintenance, and quality control at a Beverage Division production facility. Also assists the Plant Production Manager in developing and executing supply chain initiatives.

Leads, trains and coordinates daily shift operations through operators, lab technicians, and maintenance to assure the manufacturing of products is consistent with quality, quantity, safety, and cost requirements.

Facilitates problem solving and develops action plans to address line performance issues and achieve key performance indicator goals. Understands financial drivers in the form of budgets, cost, yields, operating plans, etc., and can schedule and manage production operations to ensure maximum production for minimum cost.

Ensures all guidelines of good manufacturing practices, FDA/USDA standards, the Environmental Control Act, and OSHA standards are in compliance. Leads health, safety, and environmental processes for the production areas. Leads and develops a high performing work organization that maximizes employee teamwork, contributions, suggestions and decisions.

Coordinates with other functional areas to ensure accomplishment of overall plant objectives. Provides for effective labor relations within the operations unit by ensuring that employment practices are fair and consistent. Responsible for providing TPM support to the plant and participating in AM Pillar initiatives

Safety Responsibilities:

Support accident investigations as needed

Completion of BOS (Behavioral Observation System) inspection

Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

Understand QA manual and the process requirements that must be met

Engineering technical support for process and packaging development and optimization

Technical support for quality assessment audits

Customer Service Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to operations quality teams for zero-loss optimization

Cost Responsibilities:

Actively support the execution of Loss Analysis and CMP projects to meet CMP target goal

Leads and supports loss reduction/yield opportunities

Administrative Responsibilities:

Training and orientation for new hourly/salaried employees in the facility

Support Production & Maintenance supervisor coverage

Support develop and implement SOPs

Qualifications / Requirements

2-4 years of manufacturing experience including leadership position experience

BA or BS degree in business, engineering, food science, or another technical discipline

or equivalent experience

Beverage experience preferred

Knowledge of Aseptic processing preferred

Experience in the implementation and maintenance of TPM

Willingness to assist the Production Manager in supporting the AM Pillar and preparing for TPM audits.

Problem solving and planning skills focused on the ability to plan, prioritize and execute are essential to the incumbent.

Willingness to work an off shift and weekends, although hours and shifts can change based on business needs. Leadership skills in developing high performing work organizations.

Solid verbal and written communication skills and PC windows based experience.

Ability to adjust priorities as required by the business without specific direction.

Must possess one on one and group training abilities.

Must have working knowledge of Supply Chain initiatives, Quality Assurance Policies/Programs, Sanitation Practices, Maintenance Procedures Good Manufacturing Practices, and Health/Safety/Environmental programs
