Skills/Qualifications:
- Perform hardware rework on Engineering prototypes to remove and install small SMT (0402) SMT components and small pitch leadless ICs, and implement hardware modifications using flywire when necessary.
- Utilize hand soldering tools and equipment including hot air equipment.
- Must be comfortable and able to modify hardware from either complex written or verbal rework and repair instructions.
- Properly align SMT ICs avoiding shorts and solder bridges.
- Must possess a strong knowledge in the identification of components i.e. polarity, type, orientation, and size.
- Utilize on-line web-based tools to determine the correct modifications to implement on a prototype units based on the product family and version of the assembly.
- Communicate clearly with other team members to correctly implement circuit modifications and rework.
Experience: 2 years'
Duration: 3 month Contract
