HEAVY DUTY CLEANER

POSITION SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing cleaning duties as directed by the Executive Steward, throughout all Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park food outlets; may be assigned to rotate between any Food & Beverage kitchen.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
2. Empties and cleans garbage cans.
3. Empties grease barrels and trays.
4. Cleans floors, walls, and ceilings.
5. Sorts garbage.
6. Cleans floor drains and grease traps.
7. Cleans kitchen equipment, grill, fryer, ovens, etc.
8. Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
9. Perform work regularly and predictably.
10. Other duties as assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Attend seminars when needed.

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age. 

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Janitorial duties.
• Machines and equipment used, including but not limited to man lifts, high-speed floor care equipment and hand tools.

ABILITY TO:

• Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
• Apply sound judgment in standard and non-standard situations with limited variables involved.
• Inspect work areas thoroughly.
