Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all aspect of the home environment, including property cleaning and maintenance, menu planning and grocery/supply shopping, petty cash logging, etc.
Provide weekly summaries for client(s) to supervisor and treatment team.
Ensure that medications are current, organized, with doctor's orders and dispensed as prescribed.
Respond and assist staff and others in the event of medical, behavioral, or other emergencies.
Plan and conduct community participation for the client(s). Schedule and attend medical appointments and therapies as needed. Schedule public transportation or request van usage one week in advance.
Maintain client files and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and on file.
Provide supervision, orientation, training, and consultation to Supported Living Specialists.
Find replacement staff or work open shifts as needed during designated evenings and weekends.
Provide creative ideas for Supported Living Specialist staff in assisting the client(s) in their physical, social, emotional and daily living skills development.
Recognize potential crisis situations and develop strategies to prevent or respond to such situations. Train staff in implementing said strategies.

Requirements:
Relevant experience OR education in working with individuals with Autism, developmental disabilities, and/or mental health disorders OR
Currently pursuing a degree in social work, sociology, education, special education, psychology, counseling and guidance, criminal justice, nursing, CNA, or other health related field.
Must be 21, pass a thorough Caregiver Background Check, and hold a current driver's license.

Full-time. Position requires working every other weekend. Starting hourly wage = $12.25/hr.
