PrideStaff is now hiring a Building/Maintenance Manager for a facility in Bloomington, IL!
Full Time, Temp to Hire, Competitive Salary!
Job Summary:
Building managers oversee employee and visitor safety, building maintenance, repair and upgrades, and comply with environmental, safety and health procedures relating to facility operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinates building maintenance and repairs and Grounds Maintenance that affect normal building operation.
- Oversees building security
- Requests special services and work with vendors when needed
- Stays informed of changes to space assignments in their facilities and coordinates moved or changes when needed.
- Coordinates department facility related activities and projects
- Develops and implements facility emergency plans. During evacuations, assists emergency response teams in assessing building condition, locating missing personnel, shutting off utilities.
- Manages and maintains the HVAC system for the building
- Assigns tasks to the Maintenance Supervisor and team and manages the Department
- Looks out for potential safety and maintenance issues and troubleshoots and reports them.
- Creates a clean and safe work environment
- All other duties as assigned
