AGCO is currently seeking a Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Hesston, KS. The Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer will play a key part in the success of the productivity improvements at the Hesston site. Specifically, the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer will create standardized work, and will collaborate with AGCO's continuous improvement team to create and document standardized work which we may be lacking. Additionally, the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer will keep the system, ECNs, work instructions, tooling, line moves, and new product launches efficient by reducing defects on assembly lines.

Note: relocation assistance to the Hesston, KS area is available for this position.

Responsibilities of the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer:
Support the shop floor during required activities and product launch periods
Lead special projects when assigned
Development and documentation of new processes and procedures
Develop new standard data by time study or MTM as needed
Develop cost estimates of manufactured components/materials ensuring completeness, accuracy, and conformance with required delivery schedules
Leads improvement initiatives to gain efficiency in the manufacturability of current processes
Communicate effectively with personnel, as the job requires, in a professional manner that facilitates teamwork
Resource management, planning, and interfacing with other production groups including interface with our MRP system and planning group to ensure timely production
Support the integration process of components to sub-assemblies, and sub-assemblies to the finished good, to improve the bill of process

Required Qualifications of the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer:
1+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, specifically involved with continuous improvements
Microsoft Excel proficiency

Preferred Qualifications of the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer:
Applicable industry experience, such as agricultural or heavy duty
3D modeling experience, such as Pro/E, CREO, or Catia
Siemens PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), such as Teamcenter, experience *strong preference

Education of the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer:
Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Industrial Engineering or another engineering or technological focus
