Landmark Theatres has been the largest national exhibitor of foreign language and independently produced first-run features for nearly forty years. We create a one of a kind movie-going experience with our knowledge of film and our unique venues which feature state-of-the-art digital projection and sophisticated concession stands and bars.

We are currently seeking part time Theatre Staff for our Shattuck Cinemas location in the heart of downtown Berkeley.

Qualified Candidates have:
aEUR¢ An understanding of and experience in Guest Service
aEUR¢ A passion for movies
aEUR¢ The ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
aEUR¢ Problem solving and decision making skills
aEUR¢ The ability to create experiences that set our theatres apart and promote a fun work environment
aEUR¢ Willingness to go above and beyond to contribute to the goals of the theatre
aEUR¢ Experience with cash handling in a retail or food service environment
aEUR¢ Availability on weekends, evenings and holidays with flexibility to meet theatre's availability requirements

General Duties and Responsibilities:
Under supervision of the theatre management staff, our theatre employees are responsible for:
aEUR¢ Providing unsurpassed Guest Service in various positions
aEUR¢ Sales transactions in the concession stand and the box office
aEUR¢ Cleaning and maintaining theatre facilities, including food preparation areas, auditoriums and restrooms
aEUR¢ Having a positive attitude and contributing to a teamwork-oriented environment

Our theatre is open 365 days per year, and all employees are required to be available on weekends, evenings and holidays.
Starting wage is $10/hr, and benefits include free movies, free popcorn and discounts on concessions items.
