Education: BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably for a manurfacturer offering full engineering, project management and field implementation.
Skills:
Knowledge of automation systems
Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
Ability to work thru complex problems
Strong communication skills
Good technical writing skills
Responsibilities:
Support the sales process
Develop technical solutions to be quoted to customer
Cost estimating of project including interaction with internal departments to generate cost
Organize pre kickoff meeting to set the objective and schedule
Participation in releasing projects (including technical risk assessment) and transferring projects over from sales to technical department
Be the source of technical information during the sales process. Products include material handling solutions, and robotics for the automotive industry.
