Universal Protection Security Systems is currently looking to hire a Project Manager. This person will support and assist the sales engineering and field project teams with the following:
  • Installation documentation.
  • Shop drawings and "as-built" drawings.
  • Coordinate schedule with other trades to ensure completion within the restricted schedule
  • Primary point-of-contact with the Customer regarding the installation schedule, change order approval, and final invoicing.
  • Managing the subcontractors for the various projects.
  • Security system IT related tasks.
  • System programming.
  • Work with the various points of contact to develop and clarify the scope of the project(s).
  • Create and management data using spreadsheets.
Position Requirements

Qualified applicants for the Project Manager position will meet the minimum requirements, as described below:
  • High school degree or equivalent required. 2-4 year degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience installing, servicing and maintaining access control and closed circuit television systems. Industry certifications for Access Control Systems and/or CCTV a plus!
  • Access control and video system programming experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.
  • CAD experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes.
  • Experience working as a security technician for a large, premier service entity preferred.
  • Must have current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
