We have a full-time opening for a Passenger Van Driver.
Must be able to work at least 1 shift per week and be available weekdays and weekends.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Wage: 9.00 Hourly Pay + TIPS!
Requirements
We are seeking outgoing Individuals to drive 10-passenger vans. Drivers will be transporting passengers to and from Airports to Downtown hotels. Strong knowledge of the downtown Chicago area streets is a must for city drivers.
Pay is $9.00/Hour + Tips. Average driver makes $15-$18 earning potential with tips. (Earning potential $37,000 ++)
There is a 1 week, paid training class. Upon successful completion of your 1st day of training you will receive a $50 Sign-On Bonus. After graduation from training, you will receive a $100 Training Bonus. Once the 90 day probation is completed, you will receive a $200 Hire-On Bonus.
Drivers will have set routes, (so this is not a cab service); passengers are based on reservations which are normally set in advance.
During Peak Seasons: you will work 40 hours plus per week. Nights and weekends are the most profitable times and you will be scheduled to work them. You will be on a set schedule, hours can start anywhere between 3am and 3pm. Days off would be during the week and they would vary.
CASH Tips average $300 a WEEK depending on your knowledge of the city and your personality. Passenger van drivers that make real money are friendly and help customers by suggesting local attractions, places of interest, current local activities, directions to local restaurants, etc. that they offer as suggestions to their customers.
Our customer requires the following from all Drivers...
* For insurance purposes, you be at least 25 years old
* You have had a valid Illinois Driver's License for the last three consecutive years.
* You have not gotten a speeding ticket of 25 MPH or more over the speed limit in the past 20 years.
* You cannot have any DUI's on your record.
* Your license has never been suspended for driving violations..
* You are physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs of carry-on luggage throughout the day
* You must be willing to comply and able to pass all drug screening and background requirements.
* For city drivers, you must know the downtown area including the street names and their corresponding hundreds north, south, east or west (ex. Lake Street is 200 North and Wabash is 44 East)
* Must be familiar with the major expressways in and out of both Chicago airports
* You are flexible pertaining to your work schedule
* You are willing to work nights and weekends.
* You are able to report to work every day and on-time near Bridgeport.
* Must be able to sit in traffic for long periods at a time
* You must be familiar with computers
