Aerotek is now hiring an HR Assistant for our client located in Pekin, IL.

Job Duties:

Mainly administrative duties
(i.e. help us make phone calls for references, file, type, and speak with internal employees to provide updates on where candidates are in the process)
-compare and prepare reports and documents in Excel and internal systems pertaining to personnel activities (where are they in background process, who has interviewed, etc.)
-prepares and performs company communication through emails, bulletin boards and online
-processes, verifieds and maintains personnel related documetnation including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, perfromance evaluations, classifications and employee leaves of absence
-coordinates onsite and offsite interviews, including travel arrangements with the candidates
-explains company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
-administers pre-employment tests, including background checks, arranging for drug screen tests, employee aptitude, behavioral and skill assesment tests

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in Human Resources
