Responsibilities

Sr. Consultant, Sales Enablement, Programs

The Sr. Consultant, Sales Enablement, Programs position will be responsible for Business Sales Enablement for VES Wireless Vertical and Corporate-Medium Business markets including SSSM, EDSM, and Enterprise BSA teams. The key strategic priorities are maximizing revenue growth through the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of sales, marketing and service programs, Business Operations initiatives, and analytics.

Candidates will be responsible for driving business initiatives to exceed objectives within VES Wireless. They must identify, develop and create sales programs that drive growth aligned with VES Attack pillar. They will direct contributing resources and gain alignment between sales leadership and functional support organizations resulting in programs that impact bottom line results. They will also be responsible for the development of retention strategies and programs that drive metrics aligned with the VES Defend pillar.

Successful candidates will play a key role in arranging cross-functional teams, assigning stakeholders that possess functional skill sets for programmatic requirements, and act as strategic advisors, holding each team member accountable to the desired outcome.

  • Responsible for conceiving strategies to improve sales processes and results, including the development of sales-centric programs for existing and new products. Works closely with HQ Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance and the field to develop new account expansion efforts
  • Align with Group Vice President’s by vertical. The goal is to develop and execute meaningful mobility strategies that drive growth and strategic revenues through programmatic approach to the business
  • Responsible for communicating and gaining concurrence on growth opportunities, revenue risks and competitive advantage sales positioning to executive levels of the business identifying key market metrics and trends
  • This person will identify and oversee the evolution of sales tools and sculpt account specific approaches to increase Verizon’s opportunities, win business, and drive market share increase
  • Builds business impacting models for the management and measurement of program initiatives
  • Must demonstrate the ability to identify, track, and execute on all requirements required to analyze and gauge success and failures of programs, employee knowledge, solution offerings
  • Additional duties will include field integration of resources to implement program training, issue resolution, process improvement, project management, and operational execution

Qualifications

  • Minimum six years of B2B experience (BGCO, BFO, B2B Sales, etc.)
  • 8+ years of professional / career experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

  • Broad strategic thinker, with clear vision and direction of world class change management
  • Experience with VZW B2B operating systems and front ends, including but not limited to My Business, VEC, ECPD, VISION, ETM / BSL, WFM, Unified Flow, and Salesforce.com
  • Ability to successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels within an organization
  • Capacity to combine aggressive initiatives with professional discipline and demeanor to accomplish difficult tasks through coordination with others
  • Strong Project Management skills required
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and oral / written presentation skills needed
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Self-motivator who takes calculated risks and consistently demonstrates positive results
  • Competencies include planning and strategic analysis of business cases
