Essential Job Functions
*Restores damaged vehicles to their original structural state, function and appearance.
*Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
*Works with various metals and plastics, glass, electrical and mechanical parts.
*Remove damaged panels, fenders and grills.
*File, grind and sand repaired surfaces.
*Refinish repaired surfaces.
*Align or replace damaged parts according to manufacturers' specification.
Job Skills
*I-CAR certifications are preferred.
*Enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
*Must have experience as an automotive body tech / collision repair technician.
*Must hold valid driver's license.
*Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
*Working knowledge of shop equipment.
*Be physically fit to lift, bend and work with both manual and power tools.
*Be willing to constantly learn.
