Purpose of this position:
Ensure preventative maintenance lubes and inspections are completed as required and provide general assistance to B grade maintenance technicians as necessary to maintain asset health for all plant, equipment, systems, and structures.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure preventative maintenance lubes and inspections are complete
Ensure all lights are in working order/change light bulbs
Help repair leaks (air, feed, water, dust, etc.) throughout the plant
Ensure leg pits are clean and accessible
Assist in managing bin hangs and bridges
Assist B grade maintenance technicians as necessary.
Experience:
Must be able to read/comprehend English.
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Good math skills
Demonstrated ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
Education:
High School degree or equivalent
Prior experience in feed or production related work
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a plant job
