PM Room Service Server

Room Service Worker is responsible for: set up; deliveries; and retrieval of room service trays. An associate may be required to lift trays or push wheeled carts to deliver orders. To qualify for this position, one must be hospitable and demonstrate the ability to serve our guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Basic English language communication skills is required; and the ability to operate a keyboard to input room service orders may be a requirement of the position as well.

Takes and delivers and serves food and beverages to hotel guest rooms; set up and serve the order in the guest's room to brand standards

Complete guest payment transaction

Describe all menu items

Performs set up and closing side-work; stock station, make coffee, etc. Preset trays as necessary

Alert management to any safety issues and/or service issues.

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

Retrieve trays from guests room and hallways with standard time period.

Must be able to assist in other F&B department up to and including; Bartender, Server, and Concierge.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Basic reading, writing math and food service skills.

This job requires the ability:

Carrying or lifting items up to 50 lbs

Handling objects, products and utensils

Bending, stooping and lifting and kneeling

Other:

Communication skills are utilized significantly

Alcohol awareness certification and TIPS as required by local and state agencies.
