Integration Engineer - DoD Secret Clearance - needed for a contract to Hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Possession of a Security Clearance is required as a condition for employment.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Processes, tests network servers to ensure efficiency and takes part in the implementation of simulators and test tools.
- The engineer also provides guidance and expert advice to clients and development personnel as needed.
- In the case of the Enterprise Integration Lab (EIL), the integrator is primarily testing software to include portals, portlets, and patches.
- In addition, testing is done on configuration changes to the environment and upgrades to the software and architecture.
- Perform automated interoperability.
- Lead testing effort in the design of highly complex software systems.
- Act as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion.
- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Validate the delivered software CI's and associated artifacts for completeness and conformance to published standards by reviewing test plans, test cases, test procedures, and previous test reports.
- Reviewed software includes consistency and applicability to applicable standards.
- Create integration test reports. .

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Development experience - programming, compiling, installing.

- Database experience - ability to run scripts creating database objects, monitor, and recognize issues and/or violations of industry wide and Enterprise Integration Lab (EIL) specific standards (MySQL, MS SQL Server.)
- Familiarity with a web-based application environments likeApache Tomcat, Liferay, WebMethods, and Linux
- UNIX experience - be able to navigate a Linux environment, write/edit shell scripts, understand network configurations (along with the various security schemes), IP addressing, hosts files, file systems, etc.
- Integration experience - be able to create detailed instructions, work with others to clarify build and installation instructions, provide feedback, instructions, suggestions, etc.
- Experience in the current toolset - Cucumber, gradle, ant, SubVersion, Nexus, Jenkins, Hudson, WebMethods Management Server, Integration Management Server, Creator, Deployer, Business DVD, VMWare, vSphere Client, Word, Visio, Excel, SQL Server Management System, MySQL, Windows Server, Linux (to include commands for monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting issues [vi, grep, ps, top, tar, find, ssh, init, service, df, chmod, chown, rm, ifconfig, tail, sudo, yum, rpm, wget, etc., etc., etc.] or like items.
- Be able to work, communicate, and resolve issues with a wide variety of developers of different experience levels and backgrounds. Work, communicate, and troubleshoot with system administrators concerning environment, infrastructure, architecture, and application issues.
- Other skills - provide government leaders with recommendations, ideas, and improvements for processes, architecture, and timing. Document ideas and processes as required/requested. Review and provide feedback to authors of documentation.
