responsible for selling the features and benefits of Goodyear tire

products, tire related services, and automotive services. The Tire &

Service Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding service to

customers by walking from behind the sales counter to

enthusiastically greet customers. They are responsible for partnering

with service department associates on Vehicle Maintenance Inspection

(VMI) results and the creation of service estimates. Additionally,

the Tire & Service Advisor is responsible for generating sales in the

store as well as over the phone, and all other duties as assigned.

* High school diploma or GED preferred

* One year or more of retail sales experience with proven track record for selling

* Managing sales within a team or experience in a customer service environment where decision making and the workload was shared by a team

* Successful one-on-one interaction with customers where sale of a product or service occurred

* Prior experience maintaining a level of business acumen resulting in profitability through awareness of pricing, discounts and margins

* Ability to communicate or persuade people to generate sales in person or over the telephone as well as ability to follow established standards and policies

* Working knowledge of Excel and of Microsoft Office products

* Understanding of inventory control methods and accountabilities

* Basic understanding of tires, tire related services, automotive services and of retail business environment

* Understanding of the financial impacts of pricing, discounting and margins

* Basic math skills

* Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates and management

* Execute multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and composure

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/carry up to 60 lbs, and push/pull up to 60 pounds up to 2/3 of the workday

* Must also have the ability to lift/carry over 60 pounds and push/pull over 60 pounds up to 1/3 of the workday

* Valid drivers license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles
