Aerotek is seeking for a full time TIG welder (ASME certified) for a leading company specialized in the design and fabrication of custom process heat exchangers.
The company engineers and designs highly intricate small to large pressure vessels and heat exchangers designed to operate in the most extreme pressure and temperature conditions for the oil and gas, chemical plants, mining, pharmaceutical, solar, etc.
The ASME TIG welder will be working in a well set up shop job this is not field work. The shop is a state-of-the-art facility and provides the most advance tools and technology to manufacture the vessels and heat exchangers.
The TIG welders must have experience working in a high end TIG fabrication shop; the TIG welder will be tested on 2G test and 6G test. TIG root and MIG fill cap. The TIG welder must have at least 3-5 years of experience as TIG welder of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Must be ASME certified.
The TIG welder will be fabricating and welding stainless steel and carbon steel material, the TIG welder will be welding to the vessels all sizes of nozzles, pads, legs, and other attachments therefore must have a solid knowledge of blueprints and fitting.
The qualified candidate will be getting paid between $25-30/hour depending of their experience. This is a full time permanent job opportunity and not a contract job nor a field job, therefore there is NOT per diem offered for this job. A relocation package will be offered to qualified candidates. There is some OT available on daily and weekly basis.
Candidates must be able to submit to a drug screen and a welding test.
