Guest Service Assistant Position Summary: The Guest Service Assistant primarily assists the servers with food delivery and filling our guests’ needs. The GSA will deliver the food to the appropriate table, ensure that the guests have everything they need for a wonderful meal experience and respond quickly to any need or concern. The GSA will be scheduled according to volume and must be approved by the DM.

Essential Job Functions:

• Primary focus is to assist servers in delivering hot and fresh food to our guests to ensure the best dining experience
• Receives food from the manager or culinary assistant and delivers the meal to the guests’ table quickly and accurately
• Assists servers with running side work to give them the support necessary to provide excellent service to our guests
• Closely inspects all food before they run it out to the table to ensure our guests receive food that meets
• Cheddar’s standards
• Must know the pivot point system and use it when delivering all meals to tables
• Assists servers in pre‐bussing tables and ensuring that all guests’ needs are met throughout their dining experience
• Must arrive to work on time, well‐groomed and in clean and pressed attire according to Cheddar’s FOH dress and appearance standards
• Maintains the highest sanitation standards during the shift including washing hands frequently and ensuring that all food is served at proper temperature
