Job Description

We have an opening for an Account Executive with HVAC Controls/Building Automation Systems experience in our Potsdam, NY office. This position may also report to the Syracuse, NY office depending on candidate preference. This individual will be responsible for growing an assigned territory and managing existing accounts while achieving booking and gross margin goals.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Develops and implements plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned territory.

* Effectively performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentations.

* Works with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.

* Follows through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion.

* Ensures a smooth sales to operations turnover and monitors progress.

* Assists in resolving installation, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as needed.

* Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking.

* Participates in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops and seminars.

* Prepares annual technology roadmap for each account managed.

* Expands the value of assigned accounts for all Siemens Building Technologies offerings.

Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC Controls, Building Automation Systems, or Construction is required.

* Must be customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

* Individual must possess a valid Drivers license in good standing.

* Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
