Position Overview

This Parts Administrator will require someone with a good understanding of accounting and balances/ledgers.  The ability to manage a cash till is a must. They also need to know how to communicate with our clients very well when it comes to collecting. This is a very sensitive area of business and our customers need appropriate and effective communication in regards to their account.

Who would I interact with?

They will work directly with the General Manager, the Parts Managers, and Parts Counterpersons, as well as Delivery Drivers and Shippers.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Effectively communicate account status with customers and answer questions regarding credits, amount owed, past due balances, and check refunds.
  • Run Cash and COD schedules from Accounting daily
  • Monitors & files payment and aging of uncollected invoices
  • Apply payments to correct control numbers and accounts.
  • Call and collect money from customers.
  • Create check requests for customers
  • Handle cash, code checks, and count the till daily

What are the requirements for this job?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Two years of previous parts experience
  • 10-Key and/or Alpha-Numeric Data Entry Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Background in Accounts Receivable and/or Collections preferred

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
