Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager provides excellent customer satisfaction through the management and leadership of crew members. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards in service, food quality, food safety, and sanitation. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in all aspects of the business and will act as the Manager in their absence to address employee relations, coaching, and general supervision needs.
Essential Job Functions:
• Ensures unit is fully staffed with friendly, positive, eager to help people
• Ensures all customers leave happy and that any complaints are resolved
• Opens and closes the restaurant
• Responsible for administering the store team member training program (TMTP)
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all equipment and assumes responsibility for preventive maintenance
• Responsible for timely posting of POP according to the Marketing Calendar
• Trains employees on general cash control systems and credit card security
• Contributes to the achievement of cost and profit goals
Candidates must possess:
• High School Diploma or higher
• At least 1 year of QSR experience
• At least 6 months of management experience
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Strong ability to work well with people
• Desire to move into General Manager position in 12 - 18 months
• Must possess current and appropriate food handler permit
• This position will work nights, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
