Technical Customer Service Rep
- Provide strong technical support of company's products to customers in a professional and friendly manner via telephone and electronic help desk
- Troubleshoot and solve a wide range of customer support issues.
- System monitoring via remote log in
- Operating system and application installation/configuration
- Perform and facilitate the return of items under warranty with third party vendors, coordinate maintenance repairs, and loaner service orders.
- Complete call logs and reports
- Provide customers with product and service information
- Daily data entry into Customer Relations Management system
- Able to use automated information systems to analyze the customers situation
- Can communicate clearly, both written and in speech
Work Experience Requirements
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS applications. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Professional, and Windows 2003 Server is required.
- General or working knowledge in three or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: MS SQL Server, Remote Desktop, PACS, TCP/IP, DICOM, and CRM systems.
- Previous experience in Medical Imaging (Ultrasound, CT, and Radiology) is a plus.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and professional.
Education Requirements
This position requires some technical or vocation training in relation to the position. A bachelor's or associate's degree in a technical field is preferred but not required. Additional work experience and/or technical certifications such as MCSE, MCP, or A+ may be substituted in lieu of degree.
