Electronics Tech / Electrical Maintenance Technician

My client is seeking to add an Electrical Maintenance Technician to their team. They prefer to hire someone who has experience working in an industrial manufacturing type setting, and is both mechanically and electrically skilled. This is a 1st shift position with little to no OT. They are looking to interview and hire someone immediately. Additonal information about the position is listed below:

- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, electronic schematics and other equipment repair manuals.
- Familiar with small PLC's and industrial controls in a plus.
- Interest in Electronics.
- Effectively use all forms of hand and power tools as well electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Computer skills - Windows enviornment.
- High attention to detail.
- Willing to learn new skills and study at home at night if needed.

Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot and locate electrical problems in a variety of electrical equipment, controls and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maninteance, predictive mainteance, and repairs on electrical systems.
- Operate a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers, diagnostic hardware, hand powered tools and pneumatic tools to perform work.
- Build and wire electrical panels and wire new equipment.
