A growing, mid-sized machine shop in Evansville has 3 immediate openings for a CNC Machinist.
Job Description and responsibilities
This machine shop is a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries (PSI). They are a leading Systems Integrator and builder of custom, automated assembly and test systems.
The Machinist would be responsible for setup and operation of 2&3 axis CNC mills, primarily Bidgeport mills with ProtoTRAK controls to setup and program.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
1.) Must have at least 2-3 years minimum experience with setup and operation of CNC mills
2.) Must have experience working with 2-3 axis Bridgeports CNC Milling machine with ProtoTRAK controls
3.) Must have strong mathematical skills
4.) Must be able to read measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
5.) Must have their own machining tools including calipers, rubber hammers and wrenches. Evana provides all of the tools needed for cutting.
***This is a 2nd shift opportunity. Overtime would be required. Will be working 10 hour days currently Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday (8 hr shift) dependent upon production schedule and project deadlines. ***
