Telephone Answering Service Agent - Full-time

Description Century Answering Service is a telephone answering service located in central Tampa, Florida, near St Joseph's Hospital. We operate 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. We answer calls and take messages for physicians, and all types of professional businesses around the Florida area. This is not sales calls or collections. This is a unique and interesting job, where no call is the same. If you thrive in a very fast paced environment, this is the job for you. We currently have openings for full time and part time agents. We do not have set schedules so every applicant must have a flexible schedule, and must be available to work weekends and holidays. Applicants will be required to submit to a criminal background check, a drug test, as well as a typing, assessment test and spelling test. Skills/ Requirements Applicants MUST be able to: *Type at a minimum of 40WPM *Have a pleasant phone voice *Have a flexible schedule working 4-5 days a week *Must work weekends, and holidays *Excellent communication skills *High accuracy level for spelling *Strong computer skills and able to multi task *Positive attitude, enjoys fast pace working environment. Currently seeking Spanish operators (Must be able to speak English fluently), *Medical/ Customer Service Experience is a plus *High school diploma or equivalent *Have reliable transportation. Currently hiring for 2nd shift which ranges from 12noon - 12midnight, and 3rd shift ranges from 11pm - 9am Important Notes Please do NOT show up at our location unless you have an appointment. Our pay grades increase depending on skills learned, willingness to move forward in the position.
