General Warehosue - Full-time / Part-time

These Associates are responsible for a wide range of tasked including, but not limited to: loading, unloading, sorting. Staging and transporting products, shipping, returns, and fabrication into and out of a Distribution Center, Branch location, or rental yard. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other Associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is of great importance to this position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eighteen years of age Must pass the Drug Test Must pass the Background Check Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable Must pass pre-employment physical Must be able to lift 70 pounds EDUCATION REQUIRED - High School Diploma or GED YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 1 year experience preferred. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES - None required. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Physical activities commonly associated with the performance of the functions of these jobs are standing, sitting, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, unilateral and bilateral movement, stooping, crouching, kneeling and reaching. Physical demands commonly associated with the performance of the functions of these jobs are lifting merchandise items, materials or boxed parts weighing up to 70 pounds from floor to waist height and moving a lateral distance of 20 feet. Other items might weigh more and each employee must seek assistance when lifting anything over 70 pounds. Visual activities commonly associated with the performance of the functions of these jobs are clarity of vision at 20 inches or less with the ability to bring objects into sharp focus while reading a printed form. Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of these jobs are being exposed to normal office and warehouse conditions. The warehouse includes hot, cold and humid conditions. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - Some positions require operating warehouse equipment and must be able to go up high in the air on equipment. Proper training will be provided. No specific licenses are required for these positions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge: Requires high school diploma or equivalent education with an understanding of basic warehouse operations and procedures. Requires problem solving skills and the ability to read and understand procedures and merchandise labels. Experience: Three months to one year of previous warehouse experience. Equipment and RF experience preferred, but not required.
